Must be 8 ply yarn
(For Americans, that is worsted wool 4ply) Needles: size 8 for body or to give tension (measurement) 22 sts per inch over stocking stich and size 10 for
bands,also a set of size 10 double ended needles for the neckband Repeat these 1st and 2nd row 3 times (total 8 rows) Change to size 8 needles and continue in double rib,increasing 1 stitch
each end of next and every following 4th row until you have 44 stiches Continue straight until garment measures 15 cm (6 inches) Decrease 1 stich each end of next and every following row until 28
stiches remain. Decrease 1 stich in middle of next row ( 27 stitches) Cast off loosely in Rib stich Sew front to back along the shaped edges only,leaving the straight side
edges in the middle open as flipper holes. The neck is knitted in the round (as you would knit socks) in Single Rib
using a set of 4 or 5 double ended needles for 16 rows
Front and Back the same.
With size 10 needles Cast on 36 sts
1st row: k1* k2,p2,repeat from * to last 3 sts,k3
2nd row: k1*,p2,k2,repeat from * to last 3 sts,p2,k1
